€8.75 to open the file. €12.40 if escalation activates. Add the pre-submission audit (€12.50) or the decision audit (from €15) only when those apply. Where a service does not apply to your case, we don't charge for it. Where a step is premature or refused, we refund automatically.
Dutch immigration lawyers do excellent substantive work — but the procedural Notice of Default is template work that doesn't justify the typical billable hourly. Where we are a fit, the price gap is consequential.
For drafting and dispatching one Notice of Default. Lawyers add value on substantive matters — for procedural template work the price is high relative to what is produced.
Fixed fee per file. Procedural Notice generated in minutes. Monitoring throughout. Decision audit when the decision lands. Escalation as needed.
The 10-question intake determines whether a Notice of Default is the procedurally correct step. If the assessment returns premature — meaning the statutory term has not yet expired — we automatically refund the €8.75 within five working days. No support ticket needed.
If the assessment returns lawyer-referral — meaning your case requires court representation or substantive defence rather than a procedural notice — we likewise refund automatically and refer you to a lawyer or to Het Juridisch Loket.
For the pre-submission audit: if our review finds nothing actionable in your draft, the €12.50 is refunded.
For the decision audit: if we find no procedural defect in the decision (Awb 3:46–3:48), the audit fee is refunded.
Once a Notice of Default has been generated and is in your portal, the file fee stands — the document and the assessment are what you paid for.
